MRO Facilities

The institute provides outsourced practical training in real-world settings at Maintenance and Repair Organizations (MROs) located within the Mumbai International Airport. This enables students to acquire comprehensive practical knowledge in an operational environment. For aspiring AMEs, enrolling at IAE Mumbai offers a significant advantage, due to its extensive infrastructure and partnerships with DGCA-approved CAR 145 MRO bases. These facilities allow students to gain hands-on maintenance experience, which is essential for obtaining their AME licence. Additionally, IAE Mumbai is also a DGCA-approved Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul organization under CAR 145. It also complements the mandatory outsourced practical training stipulated in the DGCA-approved Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE). IAE Mumbai is equipped with a dedicated Aircraft Hangar housing functional aircraft, including:
